The Manchester®
This decorative cast aluminum mailbox insert can be matched with an optional newspaper box or address plaque. It features a tough powder coat finish. The doors are sealed against the weather. A black masonry box is included. Faceplate: 11" x 14" x 1.75". Box: 8.5" x 11.5" x 16". Also available with your community logo.
Retail box: 11" x 18" x 14" ,11 lbs.

We are in the process of improving and changing our Manchester mailbox line.
These changes will be phased in as old stock is depleted.

Overall quality of the faceplate and handle will be improved.

We will soon be able to offer custom logos and other options for the front door.

It now comes in a display retail style box.

The masonry can (the part behind the faceplate) will be changed to a composite material.

Benefits of the new material:
This new material will not corrode inside your customer's column, like metal cans. Metal cans will rust and corrode over time, especially in salt air environments - the new composite cans will not.

The new composite cans are fiberglass reinforced, so they are stronger than most metal cans including our previous model.

Remember that the whole body on many sports cars, most boats, bicycle frames and more are made of this same composite material.

The best change of all is the price will be lowered! The new composite masonry can is less expensive than metal, which has allowed us to reduce our price instead of having to increase the price. Metal keeps going up in price and if we didn't make the switch to composite, we would have been forced to make a price adjustment.

We hope you and your customers will enjoy these changes.

The security option will still be all metal and will use the older style faceplate for now.

Finishes:

Newspaper Box:

Newspaper box: aluminum frame with black masonry box. Frame: 11" x 9-1/4". Insert: 9" x 7" x 15-3/4".

Address Plaque:

Matching cast aluminum address plaque with 3" brass numbers. 11" x 6-1/2".

Security Option:

Add security to your column mounted mailbox by installing a chute that drops your mail out of reach of unwanted hands. The mail drops down to a locking rear door for easy collection. The chute is made of 16 gauge powder coated steel and includes a separate compartment for outgoing mail. The newspaper box is not available with this option.
